When Caleb happens upon a broken down car on the side of the road during a lashing thunderstorm, the last person he expects to find behind the wheel is the mere mortal woman who's been haunting his dreams. What did it all mean, so? Were their meetings in the shadowy mists of the Imaginal a sign that she's the Woman of Promise? That she's the One chosen by the Fates to fulfill the impossible terms of the Geis, and thus prevent the Awakening of the Beast that's threatening the very existence of humankind? And as she steps into her divinely inspired role as the savior of the earth, is Caleb her appointed champion? Or is there something else about this woman that sets her apart from every other mere mortal Caleb has ever known? Something that has absolutely nothing to do with the Geis. .

Set in modern times, her stories unfold on the mist-enshrouded shores of Ireland, where she lived for over six years. Falling under the mystical spell of that ancient isle and its people, she wrote her debut novel, a paranormal romance entitled Dark Enchantment, the first book of the Celtic Magic Trilogy. A saga about three extraordinary young women remaining fearless in the face of adversity, courageous in the pursuit of a magical, once-in-a-lifetime kind of love. Dark Obsession and Dark Awakening complete the tale of a people born with magic in their blood and a millennia-old curse that threatens the very existence of humankind.
While she's a new author, Kathy has been a writer for as long as she can remember. In first grade, the stories she wrote found their way to the bulletin board for PTA meetings, before being released to her mom who taped them to the family fridge at home. At fourteen, she published her first paid piece in a national teen magazine, after she and her best friend hopped a bus from Illinois to St. Louis, MO, managing to score an interview with the Rolling Stones Mick Jagger.
During her former career as the founder of a national children's charity for missing and exploited children and suicidal teenagers, she penned articles for a magazine her group published for social service organizations, and she designed training manuals and other materials for her organization. Also a founding member of the board of directors of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children in Washington, DC, she served as an adviser to the U.S. Department of Justice, the American Bar Association, and was invited to the White House on three separate occasions. No stranger to the media, she appeared on such programs as the Today Show, CBS Evening News, CNN, 700 Hundred Club, and a host of other local and national television outlets.

Increasingly put off by her clingy and possessive behavior, he plans to end things the minute they're back in County Kerry. And then, who knows but that he might look this Michaela up through their mutual friends. Liam's date seems destined to take her obsessive jealousy to an all new level, however. Using her paranormal powers, she spooks Michaela's horse during the competition, resulting in the girl being thrown from the beast and trampled beneath its feet.
